Infrastructure - Private Equity - MBA Internship - Summer 2026
Job Title – Infrastructure Private Equity MBA Intern
Employer – Antin Infrastructure Partners
Internship Period – Summer 2026
Internship Location – New York City
Firm Profile – Antin Infrastructure Partners (“Antin”) is a leading independent private equity firm focused on infrastructure investments. Based in London, Paris, New York and Luxembourg with over 240 professionals, Antin manages multiple funds that invest in infrastructure and target controlling stakes for investments in the energy and environment, telecommunication, transportation and social infrastructure sectors. The firm manages over €33 billion as of 31 December 2024, raised from over 100 blue-chip institutional investors. Although historically focused on the European infrastructure market, Antin opened an office in New York in 2018 in order to expand its U.S. presence. The New York team is currently comprised of over 50 professionals. Antin has executed multiple deals in North America to date.
In 2021, Antin also launched a new strategy focused on investing in next generation infrastructure across the aforementioned sectors in Europe and North America. The team invests from a dedicated fund of €1.2 billion and has completed 6 deals so far (2 smart microgrid businesses, 2 EV charging platforms, 1 circular economy platform, and 1 hydrogen equipment leasing platform). The team has also signed 1 deal to acquire a smart mobility platform.
Job Description – Antin expects interns to assist in the potential acquisition of infrastructure companies in North America, as well as evaluation of potential add-ons and ongoing asset management activities. As a result, this internship program is a unique experience to develop a well-rounded business mind and see multiple facets of infrastructure investing.
Interns will work on both acquisition opportunities and management of current portfolio companies. The streamlined organization of the investment team offers interns the opportunity to be fully part of the team, assume responsibilities and work closely with senior managers of the firm and external advisors. Antin will provide comprehensive training sessions and mentorship programs to help interns learn essential skillsets required for this role and develop meaningful relationships with the Antin team under both professionals and social settings.
Interns will have the opportunity to work across Antin’s various investment strategies, including the Flagship investment team (focused on investments for Antin’s Flagship and Mid Cap buyout funds) and Antin’s NextGen investment team (focused on investments for the NextGen fund) throughout the summer.
Experience – Antin is considering MBA candidates for the internship position. Previous internships or job experience in M&A or Corporate Finance is required. As part of the interview process, candidates who progress past the first round will be expected to complete a case study to assess analytical skills, investment approach, and financial modeling capabilities.
